Don't mean to be rude or anything but what's the situation with the so called Hexus Competitions? I think most of us at the forum are a bit confused as to what's going on, there's never any official announcements of a winner and no one seems to ever post something like "z0mg I won, thankyou Hexus!!!111".

I'm not implying these competitions are rigged or false in any way and like others I am overly grateful for the chance to win something I otherwise couldn't afford but I think I speak for everyone when I say, I wouldn't mind seeing them hosted a little better.

Having won a compo in the past it's left to the winner to post something on the forums, but nowadays the competitions are a lot more popular and completely open to the public, so the chances of the winner even being a member of the forums are pretty slim.

I do agree that a quick "Mr Soandso from Somewhere has won" after the draw would be good though.

Or perhaps just a simple anouncement that the prize winner has been drawn and notified to put the issue to bed.

I agree that would clear things up! I expect part of it is down to the data protection act, my guess would be they can't post the winners name and location without their consent, either directly or as part of the terms & conditions.

Also, as chuckskull mentioned these competitions are not exclusive to forum members, so a large amount of the enteries will be from non-forum members which just visit the main site.

Also this is not a SCAN competition - it's a SCAN prize it's a NVIDIA/HEXUS competition but the amazing prize is from SCAN
