Because my little Sugo SG06 can only accommodate cards so big.

The reason id like one of these is simple, my 9800gt is very old now and upgrading by myself is out of the question, plus hopefully it would make my pc some what less noisey. And better power efficient too.

Btw another great comp. keep it up

Re: Features - Win one of four mid-range Sapphire Radeon HD graphics cards

Why would I like to be the winner of a new HD77x0?

Been an ATi man for a long, long time - 9600 (student budget didn't equate to 9800 Pro we all lusted after), x300 in my parents' Dell, ATi Mobility Radeon dedicated chip in my previous Dell Laptop, FireVL in my current laptop, HD4830 in my HTPC, HD4850 in my desktop that I think has just left this plane of existence. Various other ATi cards installed in friends & family's machines whenever the need arose.

And I had been contemplating rejoining the darkside (nVidia) for the first time since the TNT2......steer me back to the light!

A 77xx series card would be great for me because I've always gone for mid-range cards around the £100 mark - that's my personal pricing sweet spot and I just can't justify spending more on a graphics card. I currently have a HD3850 in my rig which has given excellent service but it is starting to struggle in some games so an upgrade now would be perfect timing.

As a failed musician I too know what it means to be fanless therefore I believe that myself and one of those passively cooled, fanless 7750s would go hand in hand. Nay, we positively belong together.

Plus, being a fanless musician really doesn't pay enough to shell out for a new card.

This would perfectly complement my recently updated TV and audio setup. Cool and quiet, I could enjoy high quality streaming media without feeling that I am sitting under the Heathrow flight path!

These would be a perfect for me to finally run a 3 monitor setup for video editing, and produce a few 10,000,000+ videos for Youtube.

Re: Features - Win one of four mid-range Sapphire Radeon HD graphics cards

Ahh, Sapphire, my very first of discrete GPUs. Always looked the most serious part on AMD's side.

Also, these would let me escape the current OEM Frankenstein that is a 5750 with a cooler from another OEM 4850 slapped on

AND, should I get the passive 7750, my PC would be essentially passive (aside from, er, 3 case fans) - the Mugen II manages to cool the idling CPU passively, the Ultimate 7750 would go along nicely.

Will be looking forward to hearing from you, Hexus

I'll just be honest and say I'm all about free stuff. Anything I can do to upgrade my current machine or have parts to build one for my wife is perfect in my book.

Why do I think I should get one of those bad boys? Hmm, I don't think... I KNOW I should have one of your graphic cards! Since I am a serious PC gamer, I know that one of your graphic cards would truly enhance the games I play. I want to experience the surreal when I'm playing World of Warcraft!!

Re: Features - Win one of four mid-range Sapphire Radeon HD graphics cards

I would really love the 7750 Ultimate because my on board HD4200 really isn't up to scratch for HTPC duties. For some reason after an a hour or so films go out of sync and it is a real pain in the butt to keep on having to restart it and skip to back to where I was. I did try using my old HD 4850, which fixed the out of sync problem but the idle power consumption on that is insane which meant that my cpu fan had to spin faster to dissipate the heat and the 400w PSU would howl like a banshee which is not fun when trying to watch a film.

The 7750 Ultimate would be a perfect addition because it is only has a 55w power draw which will keep my leccy bill down and the passive heatsink will be able to dissipate the heat quietly without distracting me from my film. It is also under 7" (I believe) which means it should fit in my SG06 ... even better!?

It would also be nice for me to write a review and give something back for the help I have had on here in the past.

    Thanks for the competition Hexus

Re: Features - Win one of four mid-range Sapphire Radeon HD graphics cards

Save me buying one for my new build.
    Corsair carbide 500r Black
    Asus P8Z77-V PREMIUM
    Intel i5 3570K
    8gb corsair vengeance
    Antec HCP 750w
    Samsung 830 series 128gb ssd
    2 TB WD sata 3
Due to rising cost of build as yet undecided on GPU. Was looking at gtx 560ti but really think the rest of the build deserves something a bit better.
    Don't you ?
