If they want to make it a little greener, they coul allow you to drop the mouse and keyboard from the package.
It's a while since I spec'ed out a Dell, good to see they have a no monitor option at last.
These would be perfect if they also came with the option of the Intel Atom as well to make it cheaper. I agree that it's way over priced.
An Atom would make it cheaper but no where near the performance.
I speced one out and didn't think it was toooo badly priced, especially for a stylish compact system.
If only you could spec tv cards, they would make perfect HTPCs, unless I missed that option!
Not around too often!
I did read that they would have TV cards, perhaps that will be in a later model though

looks sweet, but yea as mentioned before its quite pricey.
Each to his own, I guess. For me, they're over-styled and WAY overpriced.
Why not just buy a laptop, for £500 you would get a better spec.. and a screen. Slip that under your tv and you're golden
While I would never seriously consider buying a pre-built PC, I followed my curiosity and went to dell's site to see what one of these little guys would cost after adding just a few essential options(excluding all services and extended warranties, etc).
Well, it ended quite badly, the price rose to 1.2k USD, just $300 away from the price it would cost me to build a desktop that could potentially be 5-6x as powerful and would include a gaming mouse/keyboard, 24inch MVA lcd panel, and a bag of chips.
So for the price of a mid-range laptop, you get low-mid-range mobile components without the mobility part. I think the average Joe might like these little guys, everyone else should just watch from a safe distance.
Well they went up in price pretty wuickly; £570 for the base model now.
EDIT: Ah never mind, went through on DMX Dimension and they still offer a cheap one that can have a Celeron or Pentium Dual Core to keep the price down.
