It's completely plug and play... in theory, a user could sellotape the unit to their arm and walk around with somewhat-wireless headphones. We're not sure how well the signal will hold up whilst on the move, though.

I'm looking for something like this. I'd ideally like something that's NOT battery operated (or CAN be used via mains), though.

I think I can infer from your comments that this needs batteries, but wasn't sure.
