    i have ultimate but i dont have any dreamscene nonciense on my computer, it looks pointless and something id like, can it be installed?

    yeah, I can't believe they would consider that extras. Now if they released something like the sysinternals suite then they'd be talking (I'll skip the info that they just bought the suite of tools in '06 .

    Which brings me to my second point, why not have something like process explorer as the default task manager (easy to do, just a click away in the program), sure it might scare off the average user, but all the graphs and changing colors look pretty and in the end.... isnt that what counts most to the average user?

    procexp by the sysinternals peoples is far to much for the average joe. Also taskman is often used by people who are having to terminate in bad situations the app. The extra hooks used by procexp will mean its never a good idea to use it as a task manager of last resort
