Um go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...-download.aspx and then click on the 32 or 64 bit version, login with your Live ID and it will give you a download and a CD Key

It will download as a ISO and you will have to use internet explorer to grab it as it seems to go through an active x download manager and then just burn it to DVD and off you go It's around 2.6GB for the 32bit version and 3.7GB for the 64bit version.

Its comes as an .iso image file, so you'll need to burn it to a blank DVD. Then install it on a formatted partition/drive.

    Can I have one xD.

Will try when I get home, do I have to install to a freshly formatted disc? Or can I just do it the same as I would if installing an OS on a drive for the first time?

You can do a clean install or update vista from it if memory serves me right

    VirtualBox

No excuse not to have one now!
Had mine setup within the hour and no need for doing a proper install unless you want to.

I was using them when I had 2GB of memory so you don't need such a powerful machine

Thumbs up Re: News - Microsoft removes the 2.5 million-user limit on Windows 7 beta

I installed it on my main pc since my vista crashed, and i love the new improvement they have done on 7?

why do you bother running it in VM

get a spare hard drive disconnect your main one and install 7 on that
