    This is confusing me now, is Westmere still going to be a 4 core and 8 thread CPU like Nehalem is, but basically a 32nm version of it?

    Edit:- Ok, now I've got it, so unless we plump for the 6 core 12 thread Gulftown, then it's basically a step back in performance? As the other Westmere derivatives are only dual core with 4 threads? I just hope that Gulftown doesn't end up being the price of the Extreme Edition Intels otherwise I might end up going back to AMD.
