    Just waiting on pricing really. If the 5850 has a good jump on my 4870 Toxic and doesn't cost too much then great, if the 5870 doesn't cost much more then thats even better.

    I agree. WIth an nVidia motherboard and 780a chipset, I am far preferential to an nVidia setup!

    laywill i just hope they dont have a hardware bug like some of their laptop gpu's mostly or desktop ones with the 1st batch there always seems to be a lack of reliablity on them compared to ATI.
    ATI have always been second best to nvidia in my opinion in terms of raw performance lets just wait and see what the amd & ati mix brings out my guess would be a slighty faster card compared to the current crop as well as being affordable with lots more stream units, alot faster encoding capability but lacking anything spectacular
