It's too big to be pocketsized, so it's pointless. Be better off with a netbook, probably cost less too.
$500-830 apparently
so $100 more than the 64gb iPod touch to around the price of a mid range mac mini.....
pffft
I am not sure of the markt for this. I would think something so large would have a proper OS on it rather than a slightly expanded iPhone one. And yes, I know that the iPhone OS is cutdown OSX.
Not around too often!
As I though, an oversized iPod/iPhone. Pointless tbh, will end up with a minority market, got a feeling they will aim this at the kindle/digital newspaper market and end up with some tie in to murdocks empire somewhere.

I never make sense.
I keep looking for "page 2" with the pictures... Did no one take a camera with them to this launch?

Enjoy. Hexus doesn't cover this sort of thing.
I actually want one, but I can figure out what I would use it for.
As an online poker player....
This could be just the device I was looking for....
Personally, I'm looking forward to HP's Slate
I guess that need flash..which this doesn't have.
Total fail IMO .. though a fair amount will undoubtedly sell
No full OS X - its iphone OS.
No camera
No standalone connectivity - you can't plug your camera into it or memory card slot...
It's a big ipod Touch - that all.
I'm now waiting (hoping) they announce a touchscreen macbook pro...
