Nope, the S2 is thinner, that was always its main design point.
Anyway, it seems most people upgrading to the 4S are people who currently have the 3GS, which makes sense really. Can't see any particularly compelling reasons to upgrade from a 4 right at this moment though.
Personally I wouldn't get one for the simple fact that it looks identical to the previous model.
This is already on my Christmas List

The bag is more expensive!! Is it actually made in the UK still??
If you did get an iPhone you could have a play with this:
http://itunes.apple.com/lv/app/fairl...427747876?mt=8
Amazing apple can get so many preorders, id thought it would have done bad on the basis it didnt look different!.
For the dualcore... apple is VERY late to the game, i think youll find my LG optimus 2x was the very first at the start of the year and still trades blows with all of them (*cough* once you get rid of the lg bloatware crap*cough*).
Samsungs display is better than the iphone, having the resolution of the iphone 4 is good but id say the samsung wins overall. I think its apples marketing again... i had a friend talking to me yesterday about it, he was saying basically OMG IT WINZ (he cant afford it lol) IT HAS 8X THE GRAPHICS OMG 8X.
I bet if you saw LG saying stuff like 10098908x better than the iphone 4 in performance it would have sold even better!. Dont know many companies that advertise like that though, they just say things like DUAL CORE and thats about it .
Cant justify the iphone at all, my o2x costs £17 p/m and at the time the iphone 4 was £45 p/m to match my contract ! I wouldnt pay that to have something like a brick (it feels like that to me, square brick!) and performs terribly compared to my phone on a technical level and also does less via software. Why pay over 2x more for a phone thats worse , i can understand the less technical person as the o2x software was terrible but as soon as custom roms go on it its the fastest phone ive used. My sister doesnt like the iphone and shes pretty bad with tech, shes just for the HTC wildfire s which ofc is no technical feat but one its small than the iphone, similar battery life and was only £10 for her p/m with loads of minutes/text/data, she is LOVING the phone albeit she keeps asking me about such and such but shes learning quickly and is preferring it to her friends iphone .
Apple 5 will be this but with a tegra 3 chip i bet haha!
I wish my post count was higher, then I might actually be entitled to an opinion.
ofc you're entitled to your opinion! one of your posts was:
"I'm upgrading from the 4 to the 4S. I got my iPhone 4 just over a year ago and it's served me well, but considering I can still get £300 for it now and upgrade to the 4S for £500, who wouldn't?
Better camera, dual core processor, and not to mention the epeen"
It is a better camera and better cpu but what we are saying (well most of us) is that it only brings it up to the competition and uses the same style so you cant really use it for epeen, epeen generally is buying like an intel 900extreme chip for £1000 cains everything but only by a fraction and costs loads, epeen! If it looked slightly different id say yeah you could .
Im not seeing where your opinion has been removed? if you want to pay £200 for a new phone upgrade then your welcome to, only yourself can justify the costs etc .
I must admit that I will be getting the 4S for my business, but that is mainly because I have to write web sites that will run on it and so need one for testing. I'm certainly not one to get things just because they are new and shiney - my current phone is a Nokia 6100
One thing that has always made me a bit wary of Android is when I hear about some of the bugs it has had, such as the text messaging bug where they went to different people in your address book
Have a search about, the iPhone with iOS4 failed to fire alarms on, what was it, three separate occasions?
Yup:

DST change last year, new year and DST change this year. You would think that after the first failure they would have made sure it wasn't going to happen again. But apparently not.
We me neither on my Android device, but i'm not sure it's conclusive
..or getting up late cos yer clock fecked up. Software has bugs, scare stories exist for many platforms the truth is usually far less dramatic (and headline grabbing) - this includes iOS. I'd certainly not be put of either iOS or Android on the basis of daily mail style guff.
