Opera link has been around for a long time - add lastpass and all is good. You can even 'manually' sync with any browser via something like dropbox where it's not already available.
(Please note, this is not an attempt at conversion i'm just pointing out what i've been doing for years in Opera)
EDIT: had a quick look - I installed this: https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/exten...ne/?display=en and now I can send it right to me Galaxy Nexus. Witchcraft!
Handy, so thanks for bringing it my attention in an odd sort of way!

Sorry i shouldnt have left the post like that! The way i see it has "bad" is that Firefox is still slow and clunky but with a chrome style GUI (or Opera), firefox memory leak and really slow startup from a previous session make me leave it every time , Opera is great when a webpage supports the darn thing! I seem to always come across websites that tell me opera isnt supported and again forces me to drop it, may pick it up again to see if its improved!. And safari, need i say anything when you hear that name .
Chrome and IE seem to be very fast and opening and reliable, IE just needs a keep previous session system and syncing then that would be my 100% all time browser, its slightly faster than chrome IME.
Your and you're have different meanings, it is like using door when you mean floor. It's not about displaying superior keyboard skills it's about being able to understand what the person is meaning when he posts.
You should try Xmarks then; it syncs bookmarks and tabs across multiple browsers; you can keep Firefox, IE and Chrome all synced with each other.

And it turns out Chrome really isn't.

I always like backing the underdog, but since moving over to opera from chrome its a breath of fresh air. Much like firefox was originally to ie, or chrome was to firefox
Firefox? Slow and clunky? Which version are you on? It's improved so much. Try Waterfox if it still isn't to your liking. Opera does have compatibility issues but apparently lazy web developers are at fault. Other browsers compensate for those while Opera doesn't. Opera 12 will further improve web compatibility, I'm sure.
Could someone point me at some websites that don't work well with Opera? I'm somehow avoiding them I guess!
Seriously, i'd like to see why and see if changing the submitted identity resolves it (often websites feed bad HTML to browsers they don't recognise) etc.
I shall gave to give Chrome another punt to see how much of an improvement there has been - admittedly it's been a while
Going off old memories, my uni website didnt like opera and student finance would refuse . There were some others aswell, ive finally tried it again and compatibility has improved but for some reason things like XDA forums, posts with embedded images seem to lose their formatting so they will overlap etc .
A major thing ive noticed is that youtube (or any video content) is stuttering which shouldnt happen, works fine on chrome and i updated flash just now! It also seems to load pages slower than chrome, not sure why though , it loads google.com almost instantly (faster than chrome) but when it comes to a element heavy page with images etc it just dies. I think ill have to look into it but it has sparked my love for Opera again, but as usual the little niggles just ruin the experience .

Not really. Do you need people to specify whether they mean "your" or "you're" in a vocal conversation, since they both sound identical? No, clearly you dont, you just know which meaning is inferred from context, exactly as you could do on the Internet rather than being a pathetic grammar pedant.
I find that even Facebook doesn't play too nicely with Opera. Things don't update reliably, and the chat window often goes a bit mental when you are speaking to someone for a long time. Uploading photos and videos can also be problematic on various sites (but mainly Facebook) things just time out and never upload.
I can't remember which sites I used to have to switch to IE to use, but there were a few. I now use Chrome and it is fast to use and fast to open, just like Opera, but seems more compatible.

One problem with this sort of news is how the statistics are collected. I have all the various stat. counter sites, etc. blocked in my hosts file and in adblock plus in Firefox. This is quite a common practice and renders a lot of these statistics meaningless...
With Google now taking the top spot for the browsers, I am wondering how long it will take Google to get bored of Mozilla and pull their funding which if I understand correctly, Google is one of their biggest funders.
