I'll probably just get a bigger hard drive as I'm running out of space (steam sales!!) - I would like an SSD, but not much point for just storing games on, as most people seem to say it's not worth the money, better to use them only for OS drive, but at the same time I cba reinstalling my OS and everything else, and don't trust a cloned drive to be efficient or without errors. Another potential upgrade is more RAM, as I'm stuck on 3 sticks of RAM (6GB) in what should be a dual channel config, so that's obviously not right - paying out to get 2x4Gb doesn't seem worth thr money for just 2Gb more and barely any speed improvement, so I'd have to go for 4x4Gb, but again I doubt I'd see much difference to make it worth paying for.
Does a new router count? The one I have now isn't even IPv6 or 802.11n compatible
i7 4770k, z87 board if sensible 24/7 overclocked performance is considerably higher than that of my 2600k @ 4.5GHz. if not, i might give 2013 a pass because there are other things i can spend on in life.
New graphics card and i am waiting for the Amd's new hd 8series.
Getting a new motherboard, CPU, more RAM and an SSD:
Mobo: ASUS P8Z77-V
CPU: i5 3770k (unless something else comes up witch is better/equal but same price/cheaper, any ideas?)
RAM: 8gb Crucial BallistiX
SSD: Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 120GB
a third Dell 27" 2713 Monitor - currently I have 2 but "only 2" is near useless for gaming
SSD and windows 8 are the only things I've got on my mind right now.
Just nabbed a new SSD, but am already thinking this might be better placed in my laptop, and then get an even newer one for my desktop

I could do with a whole fresh build tbh, but definitely won't have the money for that. An ssd is definitely a possibility though, think it's the only place where I can make much difference without spending too much.
Probably same as... SSD just for OS and main proggies now the prices are getting more sensible. Also will most likely hike the memory up and go 64bit. I don't game so the Radeon 5770 can stay put and I'm happy enough with the Phenom11 Quad 965 , fast enough for my needs. Everything is getting faster and I'm getting slower. lol.
Nvidia 780 or 690 if they come down in price

... 2 8870s? a i7-4770k, some ddr4 ram, another ssd (SF2281) and wd caviar black hdd.
and also (if possible) the successor to amd's a10-5800k for my UL-Performance build.
may get 2 8870s and xfire.
Unless something breaks, I think i'm sorted for the year.
Maybe a new GPU at the end of the year if the new console releases finally stop holding back the PC versions of multiplatform games
