Never had an Asus, Gigabyte, EVGA or MSI card die, although that's probably more luck than anything else.

I'd still buy XFX though. I haven't seen any concrete info to prove they are worse....there is a lot of chatter about them but due to their pricing scheme, it could just be down to volume of sales.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which graphics card partner do you trust the most?

As mentioned before, I would not use the word trust for any company. I do however own 2 Gigabyte graphics cards, one nVidia and the other AMD/ATi and both have been great cards. So I would recommend Gigabyte but I wouldn't have an issue with purchasing Asus, Sapphire, Gainward, MSI or EVGA.

I am looking to purchase one of the next generation graphics cards whenever AMD and nVidia can be bothered to release them. If AMD maintain their Never Settle bundle options then it will definitely be and AMD based card.

Not sure my last comment posted but I'll try again...
Could I suggest that you make these things polls so it's easier to tell what the results are? Thanks.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which graphics card partner do you trust the most?

If it's a reference design, I go with the one with the best warranty/support at a reasonable price, so I don't really look at one brand - however a lot of my cards have been EVGA, followed by BFG/HIS/Club3D.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which graphics card partner do you trust the most?

In my view, most of the gfx partners have gone downhill from where they were a few years ago. XFX used to be a fairly respected company when it was producing Nvidia cards, nowadays they seem to be at rock bottom. So really, I don't particularly trust any of them.

ASUS or Sapphire. Very reassuring packaging, and the cards have always been satisfyingly quiet.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which graphics card partner do you trust the most?

I've had cards from a lot of partners on both the Nvidia and ATI/AMD side. I've never actually had one of my own GPUs die on me (I still have an old Nvidia RIVA TNT card that works fine...).

My own personal preference is usually XFX or Asus though. XFX (at least in the past) sometimes get some some awesome tweaking (the XFX 8800GT 512MB Alpha Dog Edition will always be my favourite ever GPU) and Asus just provide solid, competitively priced cards that look good and have decent cooling. That said, right now I have an EVGA card, I can't say it 'feels special', but it works great. All in my opinion of course.

Well, I've only had one but I'm sure they are all great, but the PowerColor I have is great. I would definitely trust them with another card.

    (I have the PowerColor HD7850 PCS+)

Re: Features - QOTW: Which graphics card partner do you trust the most?

I've not owned as many GPUs as some on here ! I trust ASUS, Gigabyte & MSI.... I've tried to stay away from the so called lesser names but only because the warranty can be less & difficult RMA process...

Re: Features - QOTW: Which graphics card partner do you trust the most?

Should the real question be "what graphics card driver do you trust", lets face it without the drivers the graphics card is not much use, as for manufacturer / brand name I just for the model I want that gets the best reviews...

MSI FTW. Don't have to shell out on aftermarket silencing as their silencers are pretty good.
    Gigabyte is my 2nd choice.

EVGA for sure as they have the best customer support.

Re: Features - QOTW: Which graphics card partner do you trust the most?

I'm not really too picky when it comes to graphics card brands, it comes down which has the best cooler for the class of card I'm after, and that varies with every generation. Sure, there are brands I would prefer given similar designs and prices, but it isn't a big enough issue to me compared to brands in that motherboard thread.
