I was waiting for it to be released as I was changing my motherboard, I like the fact of having 6 sata 3's etc but watching TTL's video review, I don't like those high temps.

No. Since it's barely a upgrade from my SB 3770K with less than 10% increase across the board. I'll just invest in a new GFX card.
I will upgrade... but expensive. 60,000 Philippine pesos. In reality, we (Philippines) don't have the Intel Haswell system. So, my choice is shopping from USA
hmm...the games i play dont really require a CPU upgrade as much as a GPU upgrade would....if i can spare the money then maybe only....my Q6600 is still running fine.
Not yet. My i5 2500 is still going strong, but I may consider a low-powered Haswell i5 tablet if there is a nicely designed one that I can remove Windows from.
Difficult decision, I have Ivy Bridge so normally not worth it, but since my CPU's memory controller is faulty, causing only 2/4 DIMM Slots to work, it wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade.

I'm not sure at the moment as I have a z77 gene brand new, sabertooth and a 2700k. But might see next month selling the whole lot and going over too haswell. As money always burns a hole in my pocket and will the cause of my divorce one day.

no, intel should release 8core 2011 and 6core 1150 already
same ivy bridge ...but more power conmpsumption...a little better video but no one uses the intel video for gaming ...for movies the actual IGPU do jsut fine...really dont understand why they got out a rebranded cpu ...prob the next gen cpu will work on z87 chip as well so people will buy the new cpus as upgrade to haswell...same thing goes with nvidia as well with the 700 series ....my answer is that if the actual haswell wold have worked on 1155 soket prob i wold have upgraded ...btu to buy a new pc again after just 1 year from when the ivy bridge was released dont think so ...and for the same performance as well not even an upgrade for performance m not worth the extra money
I still don't understand why they build a GPU into their top end desktop chip ???
So that people don't have to buy a video card..
I know what you mean. I'd understand it with the Xeons since they're most likely to end up in a box which doesn't need a discrete card, and the lower end desktop chips as well. But in the K-series chips which can only really be described as enthusiast models it's a bit baffling.
Mind you, it probably more expensive to do a batch without the IGP than it would be to change all the tooling.
Im still sitting on the fence
