On the basis of various aspects of what MS have announced.
Some aspects of what they've said are what politicians like to call "red line issues", for me. Unlike many politicians, I mean it. If they do that, I won't buy one. Will they change their mind? Possibly, but I'd judge VERY unlikely. It's really that simple for me, and I'd guess a lot of others. How much of a success the One is will depend on how many feel that way, and what proportion of them stick to that, or turn out to be politicians. It's not the One I don't like, per se, but certain aspects of how it's being implemented.
Excellent news!
Hopefully, it will be like good ol Virgin Megastores days where you go to the store regularly and finish a game ( in my case , it was HALO 2 ) . Looking forward to playing and finishing HALO5
Virgin Megastores had nailed this kind of concept. You could go in and play the latest games on XBOX360, PS2 and Nintendo in an arcade like environment
I think there were people playing.
But anyway, the Thai place nearby is good, as is the Fish and Chip joint on the front, the pie place on the back is OK, but super unhealthy.
All are overpriced.
You can buy beer from the Mexican place opposite, if they let you take it in to the xbox showroom that could be good.

Well would ya look at that, a company actually listening to gamers and changing their policies as a result. Is this an industry first?
- Have to close loads of stores.
- Oh hey lets open a new store with limited choice.
The new design of the Xbox 360 was supposed to debut there yesterday. At £149
