Maybe father Christmas might include one of these Dell 4K monitors as a stocking filler this Xmas!

Windows copes rather well, it has done for half a decade.

It's the applications that are the problem. Chrome and Firefox both suck compared to IE when it comes to high DPI support.

Generally, its better to do what Apple do with the iPad, just use x 4. But obviously this isn't practical. So for a lot of things we're in a chicken and egg situation, people don't use high DPI because their must have applications don't support it. Must have applications don't support high DPI because people don't use it.

Obviously I have to mention almost all the applications I've worked on support it flawlessly <smug mode>

Now if they can do this at 30" and £1000, I may dump my current pair of Dell 24"ers and upgrade.
