Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
I thought it actually was the Selfie animal face, so I Googled it.
Still a silly term. Sounds like something an Auteur would talk in great detail about!!
I'm sure I have a 'feature' on my camera app, that does this anyway...?
Yeah, ^that's why I'd find someone (like a hobbyist) with a proper camera to take the pictures - Better than anything my phone could do, anyway!
Err.... why yes, they are... well done.
Next week, we'll try and get you recognising different fruits....
But yeah, the easiest way to take a pic of the cute sleeping furbaby curled up against your neck, without disturbing them, is with a front camera. More than one such shot of mine has made it to a calendar!
Also, the easiest way to capture half the stuff they get up to behind your back, is by going over your shoulder witha front camera!
*I* do not disagree with this at all.....
Bokeh is a term "proper" camera people get very excited about. It costs lots of money too
Apple is a fruit right? I'm getting this game now...

LOL. Yeah, well apparently if I call it out of focus regions,I get perplexed looks,so have to use it. Since its Japanese, that means I know another language, right??
Probably. The second camera acts as a depth sensor to measure distance, and all that AI stuff you seem to be hearing about nowadays,is basically hardware/software which tries to morph it into something which resembles a portrait. Google,Apple, etc have basically scanned loads of portraits, and then made some points, which they think is indicative of a portrait picture, and then shoehorns that into the picture artificially. Think of a morph tool in image editing software.
If your phone only has one camera,it will attempt to do the same thing more randomly. You could probably do it in PS yourself.
Full sized cameras have advantages no doubt(although probably not as convenient I suppose). Well I am also one of those weirdos, who would rather spend under £250 on a phone, and then use the £400 to £500 saved on a top notch phone on my camera setup or decentish prosumer compact, instead of the latest and greatest mobile picture taking device. As many have seen me yapping on about, I do expect more with the high end phone camera wise, considering how much more they cost then something more budget like Xiaomi Mi A1. The Huawei P20 PRO though,is a step in the right direction.
Apple are certainly something beginning with F, yes...
OK, here's a challenge... Louis Spence - Fruit or animal?
Call it soft-focus background, or something. In fact, make up your own terms. So long as your attitude is right, you'll make them feel silly for not knowing the most up-to-date fashionable words!
Nope.
If it meant that, I wouldn't get Banhammered for using my other language!!
Louis Spence is definitely mineral...
Me and Cat we'll argue (fairly respectably) about anything...
I have a Canon dslr and all the kit, and a Gear 360. I use whatever I have with me. Lugging the Canon aboot is a real chore

All I see is some pointless obfuscation & fudging of the issue by some whiner who doesn't understand the basic point of all these bezel-less design pushes by various brands.
So let me explain it simply to you whiners and moaner type Fruit Phone types.
1. Not everybody cares about selfie cams as much as you cam whores.
2. EVERYBODY wants as large a screen size as possible in the SMALLEST PHONE POSSIBLE. SCREEN "REAL ESTATE" - because it is PRECIOUS G.E.D.D.I.T? Because the screen is truly useful the most useful thing when in use.
Then you're clearly not looking with your eyes open, kid.
But hey, you seem to like hurling abuse and picking fights, so bring it on...
Oh, please do.... This should be entertaining.
Clearly they do, as so many phones come with one.
Who is this "everybody" you're talking about, kid?
It's not Real Estate. Real Estate is land and buildings. This is just a bit of glass with a few wires on it. GEDDIT?
Dress it up in whatever pretentious marketing terminology BS makes you feel special, it's still not Real Estate.
That doesn't mean it needs to be as big as possible.
