Its so routine for me to keep checking Hexus throughout the day. I've done it 3 times already today. Man this will be a hard habit to break. I've no idea where I'll go next for tech news. So many other sites just don't feel authentic (paid reviews etc).

Even though the forums are staying it feels like a HUGE part of my life has now become a bit of a black hole. I have been modding here for around 20 years now and HEXUS has always been my homepage since then so it's time to change that I guess.

This tbh could well be what happens. I say leave them live to let people find old content (I often hunt for old nuggets) and hopefully maintain Scan shipping perks, but migrate to the new gaff if nec. If I'd known it only had a few months left to run I'd have taken that mod role when offered! Prob still the right call turning it down mind given how the last few months have been.

Thoroughly expect so, but part of me thinks they may consider porting the forums to the new site. Would be an excellent way to transfer a large section of the user base and give the new place a kick start.
