Sorry to hear this... I might not post much but I've visited regularly for many years.
It's been a great site and will be missed.
HEXUS ... an inexhaustible fountain of British humour (with some Danish humour mixed in) whenever the word was about UK-related, government-related and infrastructure (especially sewer)-related topics. Like the comments in these:

For me it has also been a way of keeping in touch with British English, which is the only proper English, in a flood of US and international tech sites.

Thanks for your hard work over the years. Hexus and to a lesser extent bit-tech have always been outlets that I've trusted. And whilst I'm not a prolific poster here, I enjoy this community, which is rare for online communities these days, glad to see that the forum will remain open, but without the site, I'm not sure how much new blood it'll see?
I came for the Scan free delivery, but Scan is a farce anyway, so I stayed for the conversation.
Very sad to hear about this. I've been visiting Hexus for the news, reviews & forums almost every day for many years, so sad to see it go. Thanks DR for all your hard work, & good luck for your future endeavours.
I can't remember when I first started coming here. Probably the early 00s, and possibly had a different login. It's been my go to for tech news, first thing in the morning. It's going to be strange trying to decouple it from my muscle memory.

Thanks for all the honest reviews and all the tech news! This has been a go to place for me to work out what to put in my PC since I found it many years ago.
I never did get my HeXus mug replaced; oh well.I mean it's a nice idea, but don't forget the challenge of finding a bunch of mugs to moderate it
