    I have personally never had a cable fall out but I have had one break the connector clean off a hard drive, Broke the fibre board substrate off at the base but the contacts were still part of the main body. Still works mind but have to be real carefull about how I put it together.

    Anyway - this looks better than the old system so all for it.

    No, they are defo the same type clip on ones. Abit have been shipping them for a good 5/6 month-ish now.

    What I'm saying is they won't be upto Akasa standards, nore will they be made by Akasa. They'll be the same quality as most bundled cables. I'm not disputing that they have the clip like my Gigabyte ones!

    Depends what you have atm really, you won't really see any noticable increase in performance. So if you are happy atm I wouldn't. If your motherboard supports SATA maybe get a SATA drive next time you need to upgrade/increase your hard drive(s).
