    Yeah, it seems that this is a bit of over-estimation, and the OS will work fine with current hardware, its just you wont be able to have all the shiny crap, that personally I'll be turning off regardless just to keep the OS from using all my Vidram.

    What seems a little silly is that they're hyping this new whizzy display stuff, which is going to have to be turned off on most machines. So then most software won't be written to take advantage of it because it would cut out potential clients... so then where's the great benefit?

    Shouldn't they? I think they need to in a world where Apple make a big song and dance about they're own 'whizzy' user interface as being such an advantage over XP.

    Presumably you're worried that it'll eat vidram meant for gaming? I'd be very surprised if that were true, at leasy when running games full-screen.
