    Selfridges offer iPod lessons

    Are you stupid? If you cannot use an iPod (unlikely, yet possible) and find yourself to be an idiot, you can pop by Selfridges and pay for a forty minute iPod lesson. Alternatively, you can get help, for free from the Apple store.
    A Selfridges spokeswoman said the one-to-one "iPod Survival" sessions, to be launched later this month, have been set up in response to customers who are baffled by the devices.

    The lessons, which include subjects like using iTunes, installing and deleting videos, creating playlists and downloading Podcasts, are given either in-store or on a home visit.

    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    However, their plan was fatally flawed when it was discovered these people also broke down in tears when confronted with a Chip & Pin keypad, claiming "why did they make these things so hard to use? four digits!?" and were unable to pay for their lessons.

    LMFAO

    I've seen people totally bamboozled by chip&pin at Adsa, tesco and other places recently, and they become very arrogant and rude with the staff when they cannot process their shopping correctly.

    - How is this the workers fault? I'm baffled as to why 4 SIMPLE numbers can confuse people and turn them into gibbering wrecks all of a sudden. It's not exactly rocket science is it? It's like using an ATM machine but getting beer instead of money but yet the technophobic masses treat C&P like its got bird flu and always ask to sign their signature instead.

    Ha - roll on the 14th Feb and then I can go laugh at the masses in tesco pulling their hair out stressing over Chip & Pin.

    As for ipod lessions - why don't the older folks just ring their teenage children or grandchildren and ask for a quick guide one day when they have 30 mins free? I'm sure they'd learn better in a relaxed enviroment

    He's right, watching your parents (or anyone that isn't particularly adept at operating a computer) try to show you a "funny website/video" can take an agonisingly long time....especially if the video then turns out to have been on the internet for years already.

    My dad will probably show me Leeeeroy Jenkins next year.

    I totally agree - i work for an internet bank - people think they can just call to transfer money without security - u ask them for a PIN and they treat u like you just pissed on their kids

    Better still, get them to buy an iriver. Its criminally easy to use. Plug in, access drive via my computer, drag and drop songs into drive's folder, done. Hell, if they struggle with that...
