Crysis full specs revealed? Ouch!

tbh everyone needs a new computer for vista, and so new hardware is a must... Games that need the sort of hardware that Vista needs will only bring about the movement of better hardware in general.

Using the results of a survey undertaken by Valve, only about 20% of users are likely to have the gear to play Crysis. If you check my specs, I was fairly high on the list - not only a little worrying, but also a bad omen for Crytrk...

...still it's six months away and people WILL upgrade for the right game. I predict it sells like hot cakes and those who have trouble running it will pony up for some new bits

Definately.

* CPU: Athlon 64 3000+/Intel 2.8ghz
Anyone with an A64 or HT capable pentium meets this. I presume it'll also be 'or equivalent' so all the Pentium M/Core guys can play.

* Graphics: Nvidia 6600/X800GTO (SM 2.0)
I'm surprised it's this low. That's a plain, non-GT 6600, and the X800GTO was pretty budget even in it's time.

* RAM: 768Mb/1Gb on Windows Vista
Less than Oblivion

* HDD: 6GB
Standard DVD sized game

* Internet: 256k+
