Comparing PSP price against PhotoShop price is not a fair comparrison, it should be compared against PhotoShop Elements which is the equivalent of PSP. I have both PSE 4 and PSP X, and each has it's good points - but I hate the way PSPX hijacks all the file assignments and adds itself (Browse with PaintShop Pro) to the contextual menues in Explorer.

PhotoShop Element 5 upgrade has also been announced - so the two main contenders for enthusiast digital photographers go head-to-head once more.....
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

Have to agree - it's pathetically slow.

Uninstalled it and gone back to PSP9 now.

I use both PSP Pro X and Adobe Photoshop 6.0 - I find that for resizing Photoshop does a far superior job, especially if it is graphics with text and you are only making a small change.

Other than that small niggle I am happy wth version 10 and cannot forsee an ungrade.
