Opened the first jar. The first tomato from the top wasn't very good, a bit dry, but it was above the water line... The rest were nice. Although there is still a difference in salt content between the intact ones and ones with ruptured skin. I'll hold on to Deckards jar for a couple more weeks to make sure its all nice and uniform. Think i need to turn other jars over for a while though.

Just done the third batch a week ago. Mum gave away one of the jars though so we only have 9 left
Still - buying 12kg of tomatos at a supermarket is always funny
Oh, and we've got our own horse-radish and blackcurrant leaves now - so the recipe is now complete
