ive just bought a packet of....

    CHILLIS! Red hot chillis

now i dont know what to do with them (you can eat the seeds cant you? even tho there hot??)

what can i put it in ? i ate my last madras curry last night so cant put it in a curry ( was hot enuff as it was too be fair tho ) what would it go nicely with?

found some mince beef and bolgnause sauce in the fridge, might add some flavour to that if it was chopped up and cooked in the sauce, any other ideas?

You can eat the whole lot even though they are hot

    VERY HOT

When I have them I usually put them in anything and everything. You have to use them up somehow .
Still I like hot stuff so dont listen to me.

Find the smallest one in the packet and gobble it up.

Then post back tomorrow after your trip to the hospital to tell us what it was like!

Oh Swafe, you poor person. OK, they make an excellent addition to pizza if you want to roll your own. As far as the minced beef and bolognese sauce, sounds like the start of a chili(ish) to me...

Dont worry too much about the off date, if they still look ok then use them

If they shrivel up then you've got dried chillies, which you can still cook with surely? I somehow doubt that bacteria and fungi are going to be keen to grow on a chilli

that sarnie was quite nice actually, i put a whole chilli on it (not the seeds, im not suicidal ) and was quite, just a bit hot in parts, need something nice to put it on , might cook a pizza later or tomorrow

as for washing your hands, its a damn wise idea, ive had my eye under the sink for a good 5 mins before the pain eased and ive just scratched a scab (or a spot ?) not sure on my chin and thats stings too, luckily not too bad

Am blowing my own trumpet - but I used chillies in my sauce and it was lovely!

Actually I learned something from a guy my mother was talking to (she really loves gardening and stuff like that)..and he said that it isn't the seeds that is actually hot it's the thing that the seeds are stucked to. So without that, if you clean them or anything you could eat them without a problem, haven't tried yet though You could test it out for me? . That would be great, since I once ate one of those chili-seeds directly coming from the fruit..so it was so damn hot, and then I rubbed my eyes..and THAT hurts like hell I can tell!! :/

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling chillies, espcially before visiting the loo
