    Best recipe for roast beef?

Got a joint of beef to roast(gonna use it for sandwiches as part of my new diet). Want to know best way to roast it so get most flavour.

What can I rub on it/put with it to make it taste gorgeous?

As it's gonna be for sandwiches, I will be roasting it on it's own(I know you can normally get a lot of flavour from veg you cook with it) so has to be something to put on beef itself.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

Mutard, garlic, salt pepper on the fat in particular - loads of salt and pepper on everything else. Sear over a hot bbq to sear in th flavour. Place on trivet in tinfoil tray - then bbq on low heat for 3 hours. Have with nice kumara salad and fresh greens. Horseradish on the side.
