I would just have deleted rabbokoeman's post, but I think it deserves to be preserved for posterity - it's one of the longest necros I've seen on Hexus

As to oil sprays, I've been doing the 5:2 fast diet this year, and oil spray has been such a saviour for my usual style of cooking (which is to start eveything by throwing a huge amount of vegetables into a pan and frying it off!). We tend to go for the sunflower oil one, and since a single spray is 1cal I can just coat the pan nicely with 5 or 6 sprays and in go the veg

Also, it's great for greasing bakoing trays, particularly muffin tins - one spray per cup is perfect, no messing with wiping oil or marge into them.

we started using this a few months ago.
after using cooking oil for years this frylite stuff is great.

you only need a little bit of it and no more sticking to the pan.

I started using it on a diet, and can't understand why anyone wouldn't have a can in their house now.

Not saying you have to use it for every meal, but if you're just frying something basic or want to grease a dish, it's far quicker and you use so much less.

The Phillips Airfryer also seems revolutionary
