I saw your other thread. I assume you will need at least an mATX motherboard? You said you need a slot for a soundcard. Would this have the required slots you need:

Hey CAT.
The reason for MATX is if I can drop a case size - if i'm going to put it in one of my existing cases then I'll stick with ATX.
BUT - if I can get into a nice compact case with my 1080ti, a quiet air cooler for a 5800x and an ATX 180mm PSU then I'd prefer to go that way - then it can sit on my desk and the existing rig can stay under the desk in the Lian Li V700 (added bonus that it saves moving/touching the 4790k setup )
Well I thought I had my RAM sorted, but as you may see in my other post I had to send it back this morning.

The Crucial 3600 2x16 CL16 kit is out of stock everywhere. I know CAT recommended this set due to the chips used working well with the 5800X but are there any others that are well tolerated??
Go Gskill good reviews on AMD
This is the set I use:

Has Hynix CJR and I managed to tweak them from 3600C18 to 3600C16.Apparently when I got them last year it was a 50:50 chance of getting Hynix CJR or Micron E-die. These appear to be the same mix of memory chips:

These appear to be Hynix too but with tighter stock timings:

Alternatively you can get the Crucial 3200C16 32GB kit instead and try tweaking them:

For most non-gaming applications I suspect not a great deal. With games,it might make some difference:

The first slide is from MSI(Zen3) and the second is from AMD(Zen2).
However,3200MHZ is the maximum officially support speed. Anything over that is technically overclocking the IMC in the CPU. So you could run the RAM at 3200MHZ and attempt to further tighten the timings and subtimings.
