    I ended up replacing the Core i3 2100 with a 80W TDP Xeon E3 1220. I undervolted it a bit,switched off Turbo and limited the maximum TDP value in the BIOS to 65W. Core Temp is saying that at idle the CPU is around 40C to 45C but HWMonitor reports about 10C higher?? Which is accurate??

    The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-H67N-USB3-B3.

    Edit!!

    Real Temp agrees with Core Temp.

    Expanded the top hole,so I don't need the 120MM adaptor anymore.
