It's a clever ploy to get you to update your post and send in your CV!
I've installed the front I/O panel and LEDs.
I managed to do a bit of clearing up inside the build.
I now have two hard drives(250GB and 2TB) and an SSD(60GB) in the hard drive cage.
All four SATA ports have been wired up in case I add another SSD or hard drive at a later date.
The standard Core i3 2100 cooler has been replaced by the stock Core i5 cooler.

CAT are the sata power connectors the 90 degree type?
eg like this
If so then it's easy to remove them and reattach them at the correct spacing to reduce the wire mess.
If they are not and you want a couple let me know I've cut the sata power cables off the dead psu's at work to build up a collection of them.

Yep,they are Pob. The Shuttle PSU actually has too many cables:
http://translate.google.com/translat...3content_start
However, two of them are on one set of wires and the other one is on another wire which has a molex which is connected to the top fan.
It is actually not a bad PSU if you look at the review, but luckily there is enough space at the front of the Shuttle to bunch them in there.
The PSU extension cable I have is also too long.
I do think I need shorter SATA cables. I really do need to get around to installing a 120MM fan on the case top as it is rather noisy.

It seems the FP uses proprietry connectors,so it would be hard to use them. Hence,I came up with an alternate solution!!
However, the front of the case is a mess of cables!!
I shall be putting something interesting in the current vacant 5.25" bay once I receive it.
It also means I need to mount the fan externally - I have decided to use an 80MM to 120MM fan adaptor to mount one of my spare 120MM fans.
I am also modding my other Shuttle G2 case and have a Zotac 9300 motherboard in there.
I got a Scythe Kama Bay Amp 2000 and added a 120MM fan to the top of the case. The fan has replaced the two 80MM fans I was using.
I have to admit that the Scythe Kama Bay Amp 2000 looks really cool in there.
But please just cut a bigger hole in the top for the fan, the hole doesn't have to be round or very neat if you cover it with a grill personally I favour octagonal holes.
I'd suggest one of the silverstone filters actually http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-13833.html that way it'll look good, add some dust filtering and hide any wobbly holes.
Or one of these http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-12014.html

Thanks! I thought the front would go well with it. Now I need to get hold of an external DAC to feed it and I will have a nice little system for general usage.
I wanted to mount the fan internally - but that is nigh on impossible with the top bay now used. If I could have done so,with the adaptor the 120MM fan would have been placed internally.
However, after ditching both the 80MM fans, the system is not only quieter but cooling seems improved.
TBH,I really need to get hold of a decent borer or multitool. I have access to things like drills, jigsaws and circular saws which I can borrow off people.
Since this work needs more precision,I have been using fret saws and metal shears!!
I seem to be interested in getting this multitool:

They are German and have very good quality cutting and grinding parts. OTH,they are not cheap. However, the motors are very good and vibration is lower than cheaper ones.
I can get this one:

Not sure if it is worth the money.
The amp or the fan or both??

Somehow you have managed to take two machines, Frankenstein them together and produce something that looks like a marriage of a juicer and ice cream maker.
It's horrible, but also kind of 'cool' at the same time. A typical geek build.
Couldn't the fan have mounted on the back, where the original Shuttle radiator vented from?
Edit to add: or go steam-punk styling by adding water cooling
