    interesting - the GA770-ud3 has 4+1 , whereas my GA770TA-UD3 has 8+2 and still no vrm cooling

    Surely more means the load is spread so less requirement for cooling?

    I tested the black squares that say R50 for temps and they felt fine. Will have to check the VRMs.

    Fingered the wrong black box.

    Sorry I should have said, you need to stress the cpu and test it. Prime95 is good for this
