Just got the orange livebox...thought it would have more than one ethernet port. How wrong I was.

Been running the Netgear DG834 (not the wireless one) successfully for ages so my question is...

How would I set up the netgear as a switch to connect through the livebox (so that I could still use the livebox for free voip calls without me and my housemates having to by wireless network cards)?

If I connect the livebox ethernet port to a spare lan on the netgear, then set the ip on the netgear to be the ip of the livebox, will that route everything through to the livebox?

Any advice much appreciated as my networking knowledge amounts to pure hit and hope.
