LAN game problems

We have a Wireless network here and we are having trouble playing LAN games with each other. We are trying to play Age of Empires 3 over the wireless network but for some reason one person can't seem to join a game I create, yet the person upstairs can join the game fine. What could be wrong with my other friends PC that is stopping him from being able to join our games. He has told his firewall to accept all requests from the game.
