asus wl-138g v2 problem

installed this card yesterday and vista 64 detected it fine but for some reason when it conencts to the ap it only connects locally and not to the internet.

my n1 usb dongle conencts fine, along will all other pcs in the house.

MAC address filtering on router?
Static IP not set and DHCP disabled?

My first impressions having recently re-installed windows and done something similar.

i wish it was that easy, no mac address filtering on the router and dhcp is enabled.

I had that wireless card and that problem too, but I never resolved it. For some bizarre reason it wouldn't connect to to my router with my graphics drivers installed. In the end I went back to my USB dongle.

Try uninstalling your graphics drivers and see if it works

the problem is my usb card interferes with sound drivers making it stutter.

theres plenty of documentation of problems with this card on the asus website.

looks like ill be trying a new wireless card.
