Question Win XP ICS with just nforce 2 mobo?

Is it possible to share the internet with another PC by using the two ethernet ports found on a nforce 2 mobo?

I know it works with consoles, because I helped my brother get his PS2 online with just a CAT.5e patch cable and turning on ICS on the network settings. It's just that when I connect the same cable to the spare PC in the room, nothing happens. :/

When I run the network setup wizard on the client PC, it says the network connection is disconnected. How do I get it connected?

The cable is plugged in OK. :/
