Well, yeah, I do have fiber to the premises, but I also have a 30/5 coax cable connection which i I typically get 20/2.5. And it's about the same price.

(yes, I have 2 separate internet connections from 2 different companies lol)

I thought Europe had MUCH higher connections over ADSL than us yanks have on coax ??? ... like 100/60 ?

Some of Europe, Sweden, Netherlands etc, a few parts of the UK. Europe is generally seen as better than America because our connections are more consistent(speed wise) across the country compared to America.

our isp's have a widespread range (probably because britain is smaller ), in america it's soo big most are stuck on crappy limited isps or get crappy speeds. you're one of the lucky ones

That sounds very logical! Unless you can let me know some incredible benefit of doing it this way... I just understand it =(

(btw, I'm going on the current [as far as i know] rate where pounds are about twice as good as $)
I think your missing the point here.

I have a 4 hour SLA, my own account manager, I have my own line, just for me that is 2Mb / 2Mb at all time no matter what, with no FUP or cap.

your 20/20 is fast and I would love to have that at home but I still woudn't run mission critical projects over it. Its still over priced, I know, but if you want to do the kind of work my network does you need a dedicated line.
(Ps the install was £10,000 as well )

    ^ =O

I think they are sploiting you with the price, but I can understand why it might be necessary for some applications.

And what happens if it does? Is there anything you can do about it?
Is it written into your contact? Do you get a SLA
