Well i'm swapping to a ADSL2+ provider soon.
I currently get 7mbs so i'm hoping for about 11mbs.

Upload going up would be more important than download getting better.. I'm only getting 3 1/2 ish but it's reliability I want... not speed.

BT have set a target date of Q1 2010 for the switch to 21CN for the Bovey Tracey exchange
Shouldn't have to wait too long
Although I am about a Mile from the Exchange I get 5-6 (depending on what time of day the router connects)
Well BT must be getting it sorted at last just had my notice 24-2-2010 switch over . A bit late should have been the end of last summer.( was the target date.) well they have got to get a move on before adsl2 installs are past the sell by date. I should think with the way things are going we will all be getting FTTC in the next 5 years.
hopefully, I mean dont get me wrong me speeds are great 14/0.95 but if I ever move house Il get less as Im sitting around 500 metres from the exchange but with FTTC that wont be a problem

For some reason, my output power for downstream is 0.0
My ADSL2+ connection (with O2) was activated yesterday. When I was on MaxDSL I got about 4Mbit. Now I'm getting this:

Apart from delivering ADSL to over 95% of the population, which is considerably more than any other infrastructure provider - who just cherry pick the high population density profitable areas.

They missed quite a few deadlines in the process amongst other things. There's a saying about infinate monkeys somewhere in thereApart from delivering ADSL to over 95% of the population, which is considerably more than any other infrastructure provider - who just cherry pick the high population density profitable areas.
Remember, my post was a response to Zak hoping they under promise and over deliver. Something I know BT as an organisation are simply incapable of through direct experience many, many times.
