Ah yes, they will be, and they will be the first to offer it in your area. Still don't know if it will be automatic with BT, it might actually, but not sure.

Well i'm swapping to a ADSL2+ provider soon.

I currently get 7mbs so i'm hoping for about 11mbs.

    Re: ADSL2+ here I come!

THIS THREAD IS MAGIC because I got my email today too

March 11 is 21cn day for moi

Upload going up would be more important than download getting better.. I'm only getting 3 1/2 ish but it's reliability I want... not speed.

    Woohoo....

    /pause

    ooh.. new router needed.

Depends if you take ADSL2+ as 20Mb or 24Mb I guess. More and more these days I see it advertised as 20 rather than 24, but I don't know why.
    yeah... 20mb... not 24.

BT are doing the honourable thing and under promising... hope they over deliver....

Although I am about a Mile from the Exchange I get 5-6 (depending on what time of day the router connects)

    Re: ADSL2+ here I come!

Well BT must be getting it sorted at last just had my notice 24-2-2010 switch over . A bit late should have been the end of last summer.( was the target date.) well they have got to get a move on before adsl2 installs are past the sell by date. I should think with the way things are going we will all be getting FTTC in the next 5 years.

This is not bad for my connection
    Code:
    Mode : G.DMT
    Type: Interleave
    Line Coding : Trellis On
    Status : Link Up

                      Downstream Upstream
    Rate (Kbps) : 6592 448
    SNR Margin (dB) : 9.0 21.0
    Attenuation (dB) : 36.0 15.5
    Output Power (dBm) : 12.1 19.8
I hope it improves when I eventually get ADSL2

They missed quite a few deadlines in the process amongst other things. There's a saying about infinate monkeys somewhere in there
Remember, my post was a response to Zak hoping they under promise and over deliver. Something I know BT as an organisation are simply incapable of through direct experience many, many times.
