I'm on 50 down and 5 up and still haven't seen anything that can max that yet. Steam will only download at 4mb/s, which is about 2mb/s short of the max of my connection.
20mbps upload speed sounds nice though! Pretty much fast enough to run your own file sharing service
I just used the link to order the upgrade, my new speeds were estimated at 25 down and 5 up, my current speed are 40 down as 8 up, I checked twice and got the same result.
Anyone have any idea about why that would be happening?

My speed seems to have quartered since I placed my order. It better just be the line being setup otherwise I will be seriously dischuffed!
An Atlantean Triumvirate, Ghosts of the Past, The Centre Cannot Hold
The Pillars of Britain, Foundations of the Reich, Cracks in the Pillars.
My books are available here for Amazon Kindle. Feedback always welcome!
Finally managed to order it online this morning. Predicted speeds are 51Mb/10Mb, current speeds are 37Mb/8Mb so not the greatest improvement but hoping BT are under estimating. Hopefully back to the speeds I was used to on Virgin!!
Zen Lite for me
Haven't jumped to their Fibre until now as they were capping download so low even I woulsd have used it.. but it's now 20gig which is fine for me and now it's doubled speed I'm in.
Didn't order router though, will use the modem that comes with the service and my Draktek 2820n on the WAN port, and use PPPOe to stick the username and password down the pipe.
Estimate is 50 down....
I'm on just under 6 at the moment on ADSL2.
quite excited now.

Time to get the .50 cal Brownings out me thinks.
/\ only?
45.8 from 37 is 30% speed hike!! and it's a 33% increase in upload!!!
imagine a 30% - 33% pay increase.......
