Thanks OiD, good point.
If you want to place your up, then post it, but the poll is for down.
If you are interested in connection speeds, then there was a poll on the Hexus front page not so long ago: http://www.hexus.net/includes/polls_...BvbGxfSUQ9NDk=
"Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."
are thanks, I knew that had been one but I didn't know there was an archive.
Need to add 10Mbps and 100Mbps - I have the former and will be changing to the latter in a few weeks

I've definitely become acclimitized to the Swedish way of life - my mail from the UK is redirected for a few months yet, and I couldn't help but smile at the Bulldog spam which arrived with "Superfast 4Mbps ADSL"
8Mbps ADSL is pretty much residential standard here, if you can't get cable which guarantees 10Mbps and offers 100Mbps if your building happens to be fiber-connected.

I never thought the day would come when 8Mbps would be too slow (I am on 1Mbps and it sometimes seems slow -particularly annoying with slow servers which I try to download from- but 100Mbps. That's just delicous.Originally Posted by Paul Adams

just a shame its AOL lol
100mbps OMG
what sort of download rate do you get while downloading a file?!
Mac fancier > white macbook base spec .................. CS: muddyfirebang
....sorry - I rarely see 3Mbps. But I never look at cable either!
Indeed shame it's AOL. ..... I assume not enourmously fast download as other ends servers aren't that fast (particularly if a busy site).
Imagine his gaming ping!
Paul, what's your upload speed?
2MB/200K NTL.
Not often it gets maxed out though.
