So I got an Asus 10gbe card for £50. Thought that was an okay price.

Speeds pretty good from my SSD on my pc to the Synology which just runs WD Reds. I used to get 125 tops.

So, I made a rookie error. It appears both of my NIC cards (the Asus for PC and the Synology for the NAS) are RJ45 ports. Which is fine. However, I am about to add another synology 1821 to the mix.
My problem? This switch only has 2 joined RJ45/SFP+ ports and then a further 2 SFP+ ports.
So I have a few options (I would like to go the cheapest and/or easiest route!).
Get a Synology SFP+ card for the new NAS - These are expensive - at about £280 a pop.
Replace the PC Asus 10gbe RJ45 card with another SFP+ port card (unsure of price?) and sell the Asus 10gbe RJ45 card - then, buy another Synology 10gbe RJ45 card which is about £140ish.
Find some way of converting the RJ45 connector from the pc cable - to SFP+ to fit in that switch slot. Is this even possible? Price - unknown.
Silly me eh! I thought the Synology card was SFP+. Didn't realise until I got it that it wasn't....
Ideas please

10GbE SFP+ to RJ45 modules?
They aren't cheap at £40 - £60 each, depending on what deals you find, but I've used a couple for the last two years.
Ugh. £56. Would I need one for each end? Or can one end stay as is (rj45 into computer) and then the other end just have the rj45 - sfp+connector?
If so, are there any relaly cheap ones that would suffice?!
When looking up these 10Base-T tranceivers, there are loads of different ones. Does it matter which one you get? or, because my switch is Qnap, do I need a Qnap one etc?
Crazy that it isn't cheaper for such a small thing...

Both of mine are 10Gtek, converting two of the SFP+ ports on my QNAP switch to RJ45. Cisco modules are a good choice too, but tend to be more expensive.
I think I paid £40 and £45 for mine - one on a deal and one on Amazon Warehouse.

Got this from Amazon for the Synology 1821. WOrks with 0 issues. Wish I'd know that before I got the one for the other Synology unit haha.
