OK I setup a network using a belkin54g wireless router 125 Mbps version.

I couldnt initially connect to it on default settings as the router has its
firewall enabled. once you disable it and connect and re-enable it will work
but (probably because i have renew IP on) when you restart the computer
it cant connect again.

Is there anyway you can connect with the firewall on without changing any
setting on the router? or everytime i want to connect a new wifi comp i have to
disable the firewall and then re-enable?

otherwise its really good range wise 100% in the house and 20 to 30 metres outside of the house in all directions. even at 100 metres it was at half strength
and i was getting full download speed internet wise.

A linksys one my bro got doesnt even reach a couple of bedrooms....
