Never seen that particular model. Got a few of the ISA ones sat in a box though.
The 3Com one should be fine, they're late models with PXE and management.

its the same with the Scan.co.uk ones, £3.27 each, and they work perfectly! Makes you wonder how 3Com ever makes any money.
So, is this 3COM card actually any better than the £1.50 cards on ebuyer?
It was also common knowlege that the more expensive cards like intels didn't crap out at higher FSBs like the cheaper cards did. Just wondering if this is across the board (my Realtek in my old machine does at 180mhz, the built in one on this mobo dies at 183mhz, etc).

The 3Com card is better, but then you've got to think about what you're using it for. If you're just doing basic file sharing and web browsing then you probably won't notice. However if you're doing anything with high CPU utilisation and you need those extra few CPU cycles you most probably will.
Right. Just picked up 4 of the 3COM 3C905C Cards for £3.50 each, so hopefully I will have better luck than with that Intel card.
On that note, does anyone actually want to buy that Intel Pro/100 Server card off me?
