FTP On Linux With D-Link DSL-G604T

Perhaps a rather too specific question, but I may as well ask anyway.

In my house, we've got a new D-Link DSL-G604T router. It works fine, apart from the fact that I can't connect using any FTP software in Linux - it just keeps trying to connect. Connecting in Windows is fine. Anybody got any ideas?

    Thanks

    Mike

Edit: Forgot to mention it was working fine on the previous router, another D-Link.

Okay then, I've managed to solve the problem, sort of. The problem was the DNS it was using. It was using the router, but changing the DNS to another one (I used FreeServe) fixed it. To stop /etc/resolv.conf from changing itself, I had to change a few things around as well... it was just generally a pain in the proverbial. If you're intending to use a G604T with Linux, you have been warned!
