Need some quick advice

Dell PC desktop uses a BT ADSL connection.

The boss wants to use his laptop wirelessly sharing the same coneection

this do the job ?

Yes it would work.

Make sure you add encription to teh wireless network though, and just to reasure you, they use 3com networking where I work, and they are apparently very good. (They would not let me have one of there spare switches though )

better still, once the Router recognises that USB dongle, he can use it in other PC's (XP has the drivers built in) and not have to fiddle with connectivity on the router, as it wil recognise the device.

Got one of those - make sure you update the firmware. Mine was a tad unreliable at first but the updated firmware sorted it out perfectly.

Not the greatest range though.
