Think i should have posted this under the hardware side, but it is networking issues..
Ive got an A-Bit nForce 4 SLI ed mobo (NI8-GR) and its been great even with an intel extreme ed 3.2ghz cpu (640) now the only problem ive encountered is when ftping huge amounts of data across the network. the nic just seems to die.. still displays in win xp pro network settings as connected and with an ip but i cant do anything network related (surf web, ftp files, connect to network shares etc) it until i reboot (not even setting ip as dynamic from static seems to work).
Ive un-installed that nVidia network firewall thingy as i think thats probably the case....
just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and how it was resolved?
