    Well, you'd end up paying for that extra upload bandwidth. Upstrem costs the ISP more than downstream, IIRC.

    I have much hate for you all

    I'm on NTL 10Mb at the moment (paying half price) and love it but I'm moving house to a non-cable area so I have to go ADSL which will be slower and cost more

    I don't have a problem with that. I was happy to pay £35/month for 2mbit back when i got my own place. Now everything is a lot cheaper, but the option isn't there to pay more for a better connection. Unless that is, i moved to SDSL which is just silly money.

    Grrr... Unfortunately I appear to still be sticking to the sluggish 4Mb telewest package. These "trials" only for 10Mb users then? Shame.

    Well im on 10mb and have been since they first starting trialling it and i havent had an upgrade. Im in the Wimbledon area btw.
