Plus I'll want multiple IPA's for that aswell

Pretty suprised we've had no one saying it should all come for under a tenner!

I agree that you have to pay for quality and thjat is why zen was my first isp, then when I moved home I went to f2s at the time who were cheaper and just as good at the time, tried another isp who were ok but had some problems at one point, so came back to zen...
the stability, reliability and speed are key, it just works. Used to use it heavily but now have calmed down a bit... I would be still concerned to move the 8mb package as the cap is only 50gb, which although I am presently within it on 2meg I would be concerned I would exceed it with an 8meg line, that and the trauma of max that could make my line unstable as I used it for work quite a bit...
back on the new cap - I suppose the peace of mind of not having a cap was nice, now I will be more aware of my usage even though well under, and probably check more often to make sure I am not going to go over
Damn straight - Aquiss support is legendary (well, to me and a few others anyways). I call them, they answer the phone after 2 or 3 rings and you get a bloke who's friendly, tells it like it is and knows his stuff. THIS is what I want from an ISP. Well, this and a stable connection anyways. I'd gladly pay more than I do for it if needed to as well - 8 ip addresses with nary a question asked.
I pay £69.99 a month for mine from Aquiss. I use it alot so i guess i have to pay alot but the way BT have the market (and ofcom) at the minute cant last. It is costing the isp's too much which then costs us too much. For example when HDTV is released to stream over the internet everyone is going to start downloading more etc and the current price structure would chanrge an arm and a leg for that.
I think that the govt. needs to get involved and get the charges from BT's whoesale cut way down. Look at sweden. The govt. there helps pay for the internet so that the end user pays virtually nothing for high speed unlimited connections. Thats the way it should be.

Hi,
I'm with Namesco I am paying £24.95 for their HomeMAX+ service which gives me upto 8Mb speeds, 60Gb downloads (peak) and unlimited off peak. They don't throttle any ports so whatever you are into it should work. When I was setting up my router, and just checking CS their phone support is knowledgeable and friendly (all based in UK) and their email support is excellent too. Sent an email at 8pm got a human reply (answering all my questions) by 9.30pm that night! Madness
They also offered FREE broadband to customers for a limited time, you had to pay a connection fee of £60, and you got your broadband for 12 months (£5 pm) this was extremely limited and so many people signed up with them, but still I haven't seen any problems with my connection.
Some peoples connections were going a bit slow due to high uptake of the cheap offer (it was a low download limit - for home users/families) but they were upfront and honest, and said that they were buying a new central pipe from bt and it would be sorted in about a month.
See about them on the forums - adslguide
Cheers
Ian

I pay for the service of IDNET (www.idnet.net)
By far and away the best service I've ever had
