    noooo eclipse suck butt

their mail is totally unreliable and has been for a year!!! 9 out of ten times the last few months it's timed out when ever i've tried to check it and has been down totally for the last few days for me

just check out the forum here, not a happy bunch

    http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/postlist...&Board=eclipse

they may have a good price and good sounding fup but in reality they throttle connections 24/7 so if you like torrents then stay away

only good thing i've found is that my ping when gaming is pretty much always good

Throttling torrents and a low ping probably go hand in hand. People are so impatient today wanting downloads done in a flash, when I was a lad 1 mp3 took 30mins to download, and I'm only 21 now...

Take a look at my summary above. All their packages are up to 8Mb speed. With the Evolution packages the more you pay the greater priority of traffic you get, but it's (mainly) uncapped. With the Home packages you get always top priority on traffic but the more you pay the greater download capacity.

So one trades money for priority, and one trades money for cap.

A Friend Of Mine uses them and he's been very happy with the level of service and uptime.

I've used eclipse for 4 years now, think they are great, but think other ISP's are getting more comparable every day. Overall, i'm quite happy with em, only been disconnected a few times, 3, maybe 4 and usually in all fairness it wasn't their fault.

BTW, if anyone wants to go 50/50 on the referrer code thing, drop me a pm
