    TBH i wouldn't touch Akasa Paxmate with a bargepole... didn't really prevent any vibrations/noise in my case at all.. though i would recommend Acoustipack... far better than Akasa but a lot priceier

    Secondly, it's one of the best if not the best.

    I just got a sheet of soft, highdensity foam of the market for 85p.
    - Cut it to the size of the side pannel, and then just trap it between the side pannel and the reforcing bar fo the case. Then lay one of the off cuts on the bottom. And stick a but between the case and the hdd, which is wired on with elastic bands.

    Its not fireproof, or temp restant or expesive. But its held away from anywhere hot/warm. and even the CPU isnt more than like 60c tops. That not even like pouring boiling water on it.
    - It doesnt as such absorbe much noice, but it stops the side pannel from resonating like it used to, and isolates the HDD
